Subscription Review: The Game Changer March FabBag

March’s Fab Bag came with a lot of expectations. “The Game Changer” has a ring to it indicating this will be the best ever. Read on to know if it lived up to that expectation.

The bag this month is extremely rich to look at. A beautiful Gold pouch, but when you hold it you realize how thin/slim it is and it really won’t hold much except maybe your phone and a little money or cards. That was my first kinda let down.

Now for what was inside my bag:

Every long term subscriber had the option to choose one product from Sugar’s endless line of products. There was a choice between the liquid lipsticks, the crayons or the compacts. Wish I had a choice of the eyeshadow palettes, but unfortunately that was not an option.

Whilst this seems like a long list, you can read on and judge for yourself if it was all as good as it seems!

1. Sugar Suede Secret Matte Lipcolour

This was my product of choice. I mean how can you resist such an elegant looking lipstick. While the shades were primarily restricted to the reds and pinks, this one stood out.

05 – Poplin Plum

It is a little darker than I expected but am sure will look awesome. It dries down to a complete matte finish and stays put!!

Price: ₹799 for 6ml

2. NELF USA Collosal Eyeliner

This was also a nice product to receive, especially since I received a shade I didn’t have. Received this eyeliner in CE -Glaze Gold. While the picture does portray a darker shade, it is more rust gold and has a nice sheen to it. Would love to double line my eyes with this one.

Price: ₹150 for 1.1gm

3. Health Vit Activated Charcoal Face Wash

I have been absolutely loving activated charcoal products and a face wash was the one missing fro my stash. And receiving one from Health Vit, which have some awesome products, I was glad. It didn’t have an outer packaging except a plastic wrapping with sticker that showcased the product details like cost and weightage. When I rummaged through the ingredients I was quite disappointed at the mention of sulphates but decided I will still give this a try.

Price: ₹200 for 100gm

4. The Nature’s Co. Jasmine Body Scrub

This was showcased as a best seller bonus on the information card. Made exclusively for Fab Bag, it does look like a good addition. I mean Nature’s Co. has some amazing products so expect the best quality for this too. It is a sugar scrub and has some amazing natural ingredients like jasmine oil, vitamin E, sunflower oil and almond oil.

Price: Made exclusively for Fab Bag so no price for this 50gm tub.

5. Kara Scentric Bleu Perfume

This little vial has an absolutely amazing fragrance. A very Aqua fragrance, it was an amazing addition, just that the tiny sample size really does disappoint. It really is a very tiny sample, which is usually given out at the perfume counters, so really wouldn’t count this as a product. But yup, an appreciative addition to the bag.

Price: ₹74 for 2ml

The Sugar choice product is definitely the star here, and I think those who chose a one-month subscription got a standard product. I was happy to have my choice!

The other products, to be honest were nice options but value-wise, none of them stood out. The eyeliner a mere ₹150 and ₹200 for the face wash. The perfume vial I can’t even count as a product.

If you choose a long-term subscription, the one product of choice is definitely worth the bag and the others are bonus add-ons, but considering a one-month subscription, unless you like the sugar product they send, the bag is a let down.

This definitely wasn’t a Game Changer, but an overall decent bag for me since I like the products curated.
