Product Review: Ryaal Grapefruit Smoothie

Another wonderful product so needed in this weather, a great mattifying moisturizer. With the harsh summer at its full strength, the skin tends to feel stick and oily, yet longing for the moisture it needs to keep it smooth and flawless. If you have oily or combination skin, this cream is ideal in leaving your skin matte and non-greasy.

I absolutely love the quirky names Ryaal has maintained for all their skin and hair care products. Amazing way to grab someone’s attention.

My Experience:

Ryaal has got the perfect mattifying moisturizer – Ryaal Grapefruit Smoothie Vitamin C Mattifying Face Moisturizer – Prepare to be mattified!!

I am loving this one. With a little strong but nice floral-herbal fragrance, it smells so pure and natural. The cream is light in colour and quite runny. It has a gel like form and seems to be water based. This makes it extremely easy to apply and it get absorbed super easily. The citrusy fruit extracts like grapefruit, orange and lemon help in maintaining the oil balance and yet keeps the skin nourished. Avocado and jojoba oils help energizing the skin with its high vitamin and mineral content. No wonder they refer to this cream as skin food, it just provides all the goodness to your skin.

You need very little of the cream as it spreads like a dream. It absorbs so quickly with a few upward strokes and immediately you feel the difference in your skin. And best of all, it leaves the skin glowing with a complete matte finish. It just looks so nourished and fresh.

Pro’s:

• All natural
• Quick absorbing and non-sticky
• Pleasant fragrance

Cons:

• The fragrance is a bit strong with all the essential oils added in, and may not be appreciated by those with a strong sensitive nose.

Surprisingly I can’t see this on Ryaal’s website yet but you can get it here from Amazon.in.

I would highly recommend a patch test before using this product as essential oils can react differently on different people.
