Subscription Review: The Object Of Desire September Fab Bag

One of the first and most popular beauty subscription services in India is celebrating their 5th anniversary this month, so here’s to wishing the Fab Bag Congratulations on their 5-year service completion.

I absolutely love the fact that Fab Bag celebrates their anniversary in September, which is my birthday month. So, every year I look forward to an amazing bag for my birthday which seems curated specially for me!

This year however, being their 5th anniversary I really expected something spectacular but the bag didn’t live up to expectations. No doubt, it is a nice curation, as always value for money, but nothing exceptional for their 5th Anniversary.

Firstly, let’s talk about the bag. “The Object of Desire” September Fab Bag is a beautiful, classy white pouch. Just pure white and simple. I like it because of the simplicity but I know many found it too plain.

The following products came neatly packed inside:

  • Seasoul Moisture Matt Lipstick
  • Sugar Tip Tac Toe Nail Lacquer
  • Iraa Instarenew Multi-Action Under Eye Cream
  • Tvakh Midas Touch Ultra Nourishing Lip Tint
  • Tvakh CE-Namon Lip Plumper
  • Seer Secrets Sedative Jasmine & Orange Soothing Yogurt Enzyme Body Cleanser

The bag was neatly packed just perfectly to accommodate all products and the lipstick came bubble wrapped to ensure it didn’t get damaged.

  1. Seasoul Moisture Matt Lipstick in ML14

As it often does, this month Fab Bag sent a mailer to choose from range of lipstick shades from Seasoul. The variety was amazing as they had shades ranging from Red to pink to Magenta and this amazing nude. I, of course, had to choose the nude shade. I mean look at that shade. Beautiful!

With a creamy matte finish, this lipstick is lead free (yyeeaahhh!) and doesn’t dry out your lips at all as it is enriched with Vitamin E.

Price: ₹530 for 3.2gm

  1. Sugar Tip Tac Toe Nail Lacquer

I have proclaimed my love for Sugar products before, and their nail lacquer is no different. I absolutely love their application brush. It’s flat and broad and perfect for a neat, even coat.

I received the nail lacquer in the shade 039 Bold as Brass. A dull gold shade with a beautiful sheen, it is so perfect for the upcoming festive season.

Price: ₹299 for 10ml

  1. Iraa Instarenew Multi-Action Under Eye Cream

I recently received this product in another subscription box and am loving it. Anyone following me, would know my greatest woe is the dreaded under eye circles. They are super difficult to get rid off and while this cream doesn’t get rid of it completely, it certainly helps in brightening up the eyes, thereby reducing the harshness of those ugly dark circles. It comes in a convenient tube and it’s great to dispense the tiny amount required. Am so glad I have stock of this now, because I am sure I would have repurchased it anyway.

Price: ₹490 for 20gm

  1. Tvakh Midas Touch Ultra Nourishing Lip Tint

While I am more of a “doll up the eyes” kina girl, I absolutely can’t do without a lipbalm. And when you receive a lip tint which looks like this, you have to love it right?

I occasionally reach out for a lip tint and with gold dust in this, it is going to definitely add that sparkle to my look. It also contains SPF, so I am sure I will be reaching out to this often.

Price: ₹195 for 6gms

  1. Tvakh CE-Namon Lip Plumper

While I wasn’t too excited at the fact that Fab Bag included 3 lip products this month, a lip plumper being one of them didn’t sound too bad either. I have got quite full lips, so don’t really need a plumper but I am still excited to try something like this.

Enriched with cinnamon oil & argan oil, this not only plumps up the lips but deeply nourishes them and keeps them soft and supple.

Price: ₹225 for 6gms

  1. Seer Secrets Sedative Jasmine & Orange Soothing Yogurt Enzyme Body Cleanser

A brand that is taking the market by storm, I am super excited to try a product from Seer Secrets. Enriched with some amazing natural ingredients like coconut, yogurt, amla, reetha, jasmine & orange this cleanser seems to be an ideal way to pamper your skin.

It claims to help with de-tanning, moisturizing and even anti-aging and if the claims are true I am definitely looking to purchase a full size of this.

Price: ₹72 for 30ml

This month’s Fab Bag is certainly a nice curation but didn’t live up to the expectations of a 5 year anniversary bag and certainly not to the theme of “Object to Desire”. While I did like all the products, I wasn’t happy with receiving 3 lip products in a single bag and the bag itself was quite simple, unlike previous years anniversary bags which were always something special. Still worth its value, I do recommend Fab Bag as one of the better subscription bags in the market.

Fab Bag currently also have some offers on for various make-up and skincare brands. You can check them out at:
